By the grace of Almighty Allah I got my passport request...i got 2 Surprises today...1 my wife came from Canada and secondly got my PPR....thanks a lot from everyone..

Medical done: Oct 2011
AOR Dec 2011
File Transfer to Islamabad: Jan 24th 2012
Status as of Feb 20th 2013: "We have received your application on Nov 21 2011”
Any thoughts on this when i should expect ReMed Request? I visited twice to Pak to see my wife during the application, should i send documents to Islamabad about my recent visit and proof that our marriage is genuine, will this help to escalate my case?

if u send in that u have visited twice earlier that would have been better but since its been more then one year since ur file transferred to Islamabad ur supplementary forms and Imm forms have expired most likely they would ask again or u will get remed if ur lucky

i think u should still send the proof

Honestly it's hard to tell I and my cousin applied at the same time mine was Sep. 2011 and his is Oct. 2011 and even though mine's husband case. Mashallah my husband received supplementary forms and re-medical. However, my cousin hasn't heard anything. Ever since he applied he just received AOR and his wife in back home hasn't gotten anything.. But recently Alhamdulillah his ecas status changed to "in process" since last week.. he applied early october..
hopefully you will hear something by March!Allah (swt) is great!!

i want to know that CIC check list asking Nikha Nama so i should send Nikha Nama in urdu or Marriage Certificate which urdu and English both so what should i send with my application.

Send the original Nikah Nama with English translation all original documentation if you send copies they request for original which will take more time for you!

Hi all
My question is that my Passport will expire on Jan 2014 and i will apply my PR application from here South Korea on july 2013 so CIC forms ask me that how many pass port you have issued i will write one passport and when CIC visa office will required my pass port for visa so on that time my passport will be expire and here Korea Pakistan embassy will issue me manual passport so there will be any issue for me or i have to go back to Pakistan for my computerized passport pls help.

also one more thing i have to attest my Nikha Nama in urdu from freon affair or not also i have to do english translate ? and now a days in Karachi Nadra office are issue computerized Nikha Nama and they will take original Nikh nama in urdu and they will issue computerized so what should i do?

Hiii everyone!!


Alhamdulillah! By the grace of Allah my husband received his passport back with visa.


Passport received by CHC 12 Feb
Passport back: Feb 20th

Along with the passport I did send them a letter requesting to stamp the visa as soon as possible as I am about to have our baby in first week of March. I guess that helped to get the passport back faster.

I pray that everyone gets united with their spouses soon.
