By the Grace & Blessing of Almighty ,My case processing is smooth so far. I am really really thankful to Allah and pray for all those who are waiting for Good news especially for old cases.
Yes I filed my case through lawyer but only for filling forms and sending them to CIC ,after that i handle my case by myself with the help of this forum .This forum gives me a lot of help and guidance for responding ADD docs requests.For this i m very grateful to the forum members.
There is not special circumstances concerning my case processing.

I was talking to an immigration consultant today. He said that each and every case is different....circumstances are different...even the visa officer is different for different cases. So, my guess is that our timelines are different because of different visa officers and their varrying attitudes when it comes to judging marriages. I know of at least 5 Nikah only cases all of whom applied after me and their passports have arrived with visa.

I have a feeling that I am stuck with a particularly stubborn visa officer. Nevertheless, i hope for the very best, Insha Allah!

I agree with you! whatever you mentioned above is absolutely right.
one of my uncle's friends worked in visa section, he said the same thing
I started my husband's application on Oct. 2011 and got re-med already
While my cousin who started hers in June. 2011 didn't hear anything yet

My timeline is close to yours. I sponsored my husband
on oct. 2011 and got supplementary forms and re-med oct.2012
ever since then haven't heard anything from them.
I am looking forward to a good news sometimes late February or March

My question to everyone here is:
my husband got to do his re-med and supplementary form
but he wasn't asked to do a police clearance certificate for this year.
is that normal?

looking through your application and supporting documents .... unless they find out that you lived at an address in some other city then your home town for more then six months at a time they usually dont ask you for a re pcc
