Few days I got a response through my MP that file is in active processing and waiting to be reviewed by a senior immigration officer. Then couple of days later got an email from CHC-ISL which is in response to my email inquiry about 2 months ago. They are saying that the applicant should also provide PCC from couple of other small towns where she lived in the past. We only provided PCC for the current city. It will take at least a couple of weeks to get all the PCC’s now. Should I send a response to CHC-ISL that we are working on it? Should I ask my MP to respond? Prayers for you all.

Just curious wanted to know that the temporary 2 yrs visa for spouse in the new law counts for which cases? 2012 cases or for all the visas granted after the law passed or all the cases filed after the law passed??

The conditional measure is now in force, which means that it applies to permanent residents in relationships of two years or less, with no children in common, whose applications are received on or after October 25, 2012.

i think you should reply the email you got from CHC if they did not give you any time limit for providing PCC.... or if you want you can contact your MP and communicate thorugh him for quick communication if he is cooperating...
we are supposed to provide them PCC since age of 18 or past 10 years which ever comes first for all the places where you have lived 6 months or more

i think you should reply the email you got from CHC if they did not give you any time limit for providing PCC.... or if you want you can contact your MP and communicate thorugh him for quick communication if he is cooperating...

Thanks sabii. I am trying to communicate with MP; sent an email asking if they would send the response on my behalf. I will also respond to the email that was sent to me directly from CHC-ISL. They have not given any time limit but did write that medical has expired and medical request will be sent in due course.
