I don't really know much about the 1+ addresses in Khi but what happens in Lahore is:
For PCC you go to CCPO office and
- Submit request consisting of 2 forms. 1 is in English and other Urdu
- They ask you if you have more than 1 address in same district then you need to fill separate Urdu wala form for each Address you lived on.
- This urdu wala form goes to relative area police station
- In ayesha_a case she would fill 1 English form and 2 Urdu wala forms (1 for F.B Area & Other for Cliften) also she would have to mention the name of police station of that Concerned area
- Then these urdu wala forms go to the mentioned Police station and they contact you for verification and in her case she would be contacted from both police stations
- Both Police station send back the forms with remarks to CCPO office within 2 3 days max
- You go to CCPO office again and they ask you to verify a draft for any spell or Typo.
- Now this draft has all the addresses you mentioned (Clifton + F.B area)
- Once you approve the draft they take your Passport
- Now you need to be at CCPO office either at 9:00am or 12:00PM as Saab (CCPO) signs PCC's at 9:30 and 12:30 everyday
- The moment Saab signs your PCC he has a look at ur Passport & you to check how handsome you look 8)
- Once he signs you are returned your PP with PCC not visa

Thats long story short for getting PCC in Lahore. Hope it helps!
O btw this is very systematic way there are few exceptions/Jugaarz you might notice but all this process is defined and free of cost n am really proud of it

Alright, first of all let me clear something up for you. You are the applicant and your sponsor buying a car from states would not be tax free, because first of all its coming from States not Pakistan and secondly its your sponsor purchasing it, and doesn't matter whose name its under. So I don't think that this option is valid, applicant can only bring or get stuff shipped in from the home country to CANADA taxfee when they land for the first time or shortly after landing. Someone correct me if I am wrong!

Regarding your PCC, It doesn't matter what it says on your passport or ID card for addressess, because people move all the time. However, if your PCC states address you only lived until 2008 and none from 2009 -2011 then thats a problem. If you have mentioned on the forms that you lived at different addressess for more than 6 months from 2008 to 2011, and your PCC don't show those addresses then I am afraid you will have to get a PCC from your current district. For example: If you lived in FB Area from 2008 - 2009 and lived in Clifton from 2009 to present you will need a PCCs from each district.

I think the process is a little different for Karachi, but I wouldn't know, I wasn't actually the one involved in it. My wife asked one of her uncle's who had connections within the department and got it done in 3 days. It cost her 2000Rs both times but was fast and on time we needed it.

Yep man thats true things are different in KHI.. i too got ma Karachi PCC while I was in Lahore without giving any appearance but had to pay a damn handsome amount for that. But some1 on other forum told me recently that same system is being deployed at Karachi also but Problem is KHI is a big City and it has 3 or 4 CCPOs so, it differ for areas in same City there

I wish to inform that my spouse has received the request for passport. Re-medical cert. was submitted in April '11 and March 2010 AOR.

I've a couple of quick questions to ask:

- the letter comes with a grid to provide applicant's info. (passport number, height, name, etc.). Should we complete the grid with both our information? (spouse and applicant or just applicant?)

- the letter also states that you must ensure that you have prepaid the courier for the return of your documents. Do we simply reverse the address and enclose the receipt/sticky that it has been paid?
