I have registered on any forum for the first time and this is my first ever post.

My wife is sponsoring me and my processing started in June 2010. Initially, we only had Nikah in Jan 2010. In April 2011, we received an objection letter doubting our marriage and asked for additional proof of contact and pictures. So, she came to Pakistan and we had wedding and Walima and then we went for honey moon. We sent all the documents and pictures in May. Now, I enquired the status of my application and received the following response:

Dear Client,

This is in response to your email (see below).

Your application is currently in process and is in queue for review. A request letter was sent out to applicant on 05 July 2011 and we await response to our request letter.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Please note that we will be unable to reply to messages which do not include either the name AND date of birth of the primary applicant or the file number under which your application is being processed.

Did you have to fill out the immigration forms again and provide another police certificate along with when you received the objection letter? If so this is your remedical request or could even be your remedical + Passport request

Mera PPr kab aye ga yaar!! I wait too long now I am sad sad! I think mujhe pakistani shadi nahin karni chahiye thi. Buss ami ki baaton mein aa kar shaadi kar li. Kissi aur ka ppr aya keh nahin!!

Please people tell tell bolo bolo! Raaton ki neend urr gaye hai, dinn ka chaein barbaad ho gaya hai! Kiss ajeeb mushkil mein phas gaye hain hum sab!

This is too big exam for me. I never fail life in, only in maths and my english was so so. But this wait mein hum fail ho gaye hain!!

Can any one tell if CHC update e-case when they send re-med/repcc or any doc request...........ie. we have sent u re-medical letter on.xx-xx-xxxx etc.....

I am sponsoring my wife she is working in armed forces the CIC-I requested for Supplementary information from her in which they required official Military service completion or excemption certificate. She is still working and her retirement is due next year in July 2012 hwever, I applied for her sponsorship keeping in mind that by the time process on her file completed she will take 6 months leave and give her entry and afterward in July 2012 will take her retirement and permanently settled with me in canada. However, armed forces will never give her excemption certificate for immigration. Can anybody on this forum has forces background guide me on this situation

NoPe! ecas is pretty much useless! They update to 'in process' when they start processing and they update it to 'decision made' once the file has been finished. That's pretty much it!
