Have you tried CAIPS? if you havn't then order it asap it would give you better idea of what activities have been done on your file yet and some idea of when you would be hearing from CHC next.

Hi guys,

I just received an email from CHC-I that my file is in queue for background check. I have been waiting for 26 months and last month they had replied file in queue for review by immigration officer. Now it's in queue for background check. It's seems like a bad f***ing joke. The file was under background check the whole of 2010. This is so frustrating. Any idea what to expect next? I had sent the PCC and supp forms in March. They have received them. It's like they are buying more time but honestly at the cost of our family lives. Any feedback?

Yes I had received the CAIPS notes in March, 2011. As per the notes everything seems okay. However, there was no indication of the backgrounds checks being completed. I may order them again but I am so frustrated of being in this helpless situation. May Allah guide us in the right direction and unite us all with our families soon. Ameen.

Yes this time is really frustrating for all of us and even more for those who have been waiting for more than 20 months but What doesn't Kill you makes you stronger.May God bless us with togetherness of our spouses very soon. We should not loose hope at all God has but us in to it & HE would lead us out of it.

hey i have send a email to da High Commission Embassy yesterday n da day before asking for my file number,
they havent replyed to my email.

coz before wen i emailed them they reply right away the next day i would get a email from them

there is a photo studio name HONGKONG studio in bahadurabad.near chinese resturant and BIG MAC,wahan bhi negative hoti hain,they r v professional,they know the required size for canadian embassy,
1 negative is enough.
I took my pics negative but uski zarorat nahi parii.
