Yes, it does come through the TCS and they don't require any documents as a matter of fact they will send you some papers that you have fill and send them back. It's very simple process. Same way they will send your passport and some of the documents back, not everything. That's about it.

will they return our documents back with the passport? bec I submitted my original nikkah nama,my daughter's birth certificate and few more orginal doc....plss reply

it takes 2-3 weeks ....i sent my passport on 9th march and still i haven't received it.

ya dn't know why this is taking too long. they just have to stamp the visa on our passport and thts it.

New to 'this' forum and newly married as well! I have some quick questions, appreciate any answers.
If my wife gets new NIC using my name as her last name, will she have to change her last name on ALL of her previous documents including school mark sheets, diplomas, certificates, etc..? OR it's not a big deal? Also, I am not present in Pakistan, can she still apply for her NIC without my presence? Will she need my NICOP copy or original? (I'm Canadian citizen)..

as of my experience, i went to NADRA to get info about FRC (family registration certificate) and for that they asked me to provide my wife's original CNIC (urdu wala) only...they said NICOP won't work...only CNIC in urdu...that's why i came back since my wife didn't have her CNIC...based on that i think they may require your original CNIC for her name change...
