Yea...my wife had horror stories being told to her at some point in the beginning. In the early part of your relationship, those stories can be dangerous and harmful but thankfully, 2 years in, we know each other enough not to fall trap to them. Now she just goes to gatherings if she really has too. Can't handle the brown/desi attitude anymore.

We are both really are fed up and hurts more than it used to see those that applied after us are packing to leave.

I just got back from vacation and its only been 6 days apart but feels like 6 months. Killer.

LOL! you are so right.... I see so many couples....friends/cousins/relatives living happily married...i dont even know what married life is yet lol...right now im as good as single.... these two years have taken a lot from us indeed....man its going to be so awkward later on...

Sis imagine ur cousins finally getting married and showing off on you, and others always non stop asking y y y y y y y y y is it taking long. On one hand i am like maybe their being since n asking and on the other hand if u ask once y the f*ck would u keep asking always n non stop.

i dont have to imagine sis because i have been through this.....haha.....i know its terrible.... and so i can empathize... i dread going to shaadis and other family functions now fearing everyone would bug me and my mom asking betii ki kab shaadi horahi hay, dou saal hogaye... is there a problem...my daughter got done within 6 months time frame...etc etc.. and cousins are worse... they keeping bugging me that my husband doesnt want me there.... ... feel like knocking them all out... but now it doesn't effect me.... our time will also come inshAllah...and when it comes we'll show em losers...haha!

im very amazed we all r passing through same condions......
I im very upset cux of taunts nd cux of process nd no new updates.... But i realize we all r suffering here.....

And those whoz process completed in months always show off that they r lucky got visa in 3 or 4 months nd y im still waiting.... U know the way they see me is very terrible.... I wish we all get. Rid of tjis process ameen.

lol same here wen i got married i was 19 now im 21 n in insha'allah 6 months i will be 22
everyone having babies, homes, marriage goin on and we are jus waiting thats it


I hate people who lie n say that our case only took 5-8 months, no one tells the truth, that they applied long time again and jus that now people found out they say well it only took me 6 months blah blah

ohh well insha'allah I am waiting and praying. and insha'allah Allah swt will help us ameen

Dont be upset sis.........im in the same situation... two years gone by....wasted... when memories should have been created...anyways....on the bright side we have our whole lives ahead of us.. we're still very young... it'll be over soon inshallah...

Yea.. Sometimes sharing pain helps ease it. IA we all will here something before Dec.
I can understand the two years but i also think, it has made my wife and I, communicate better about smallest details that may have been skipped in person. Now, we are more likely to ask the same questions or talk about that we would in chat. It was a mental effort in the beginning. People are different on chat vs reality and i didn't want that for us. I don't think we are 100% there yet but somewhere in there.
