CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2009 -2010

This is really weird, my husband got a call today from CHC ISB asking if he had done the remed. My husband answered yes and they asked him when.. so he gave the answer about 2 weeks back. Thats about it..

anyways, according to the TCS tracking number, the passport was received 2 weeks ago by NASIR at CHC..

why did he get this call? should we be worried?

No no you shouldn't! I got the same call, and the next day received my PPR alhamdolillah- if yours was a re-med and PPR, inshAllah you'll get the passport back with the stamped visa in the coming 2 weeks =)

What I meant was that why are they calling after two weeks since they have already received passport and their tracking information shows that it was received.

I didn't get any phone call and I wonder why!

U don't need to worry about it since it is just a system glitch! And chc probably won't respond to u regarding this issue, they lately have stopped responding people for some odd reasons!

Maybe they just are planning to head home for Xmas and new year vacations and are too excited to respond even.

Somy suggestion is just don't worry about it, if there is an issue with something trust me they will come knocking at ur door!

I always remember the fraud case which was done by the visa officer here at CHC-I..and I feel that we all should remain little bit conscious about our cases and CHC-I activities...

You shouldn't worry this has happened to other forum members too. Because it's been 2 weeks they probably haven't opened the mail yet (lazy lazy lol) so they are just confirming that the re-med is done that's all.

Mareea told me that your hubby and she are stuck with this stupid process once again...just like everything for both of you happened at the same time always!

Highly doubt that- even they have to report at the end of every month/ year for the quota that was assigned to them. So yeah, a one week christmas holiday seems more like it...Also, I think all the re-med cases would be done soon if they intend implementing the new policy soon- cases at re-pcc or re-med stage won't fall under the new policy category. And if they do implement the new policy then the new applicants have it easy and inshAllah they'll be uniting with their husbands in 3-4 months after marriage

I think we don't need to go too far, one example exist in form of our own beloved Prophet Mohammad's [PBUH] wife - who was in business.
Hazrat khadija(SA), who took over the family business and expanded it - She was an outstanding female liberating figure in Islamic history!

In my opinion, if your women would like to go out for job (by staying in limits told by Islam) then don't stop her but if she would like to stay at home then don't force her to go out for job.
