I sent a package that included my nikah nama to Islamabad through FedEx and they charged me $94.00 CAD. I went to the FedEx office itself. It isn't that bad and I love FedEx!

I think all of you are in different cities in Canada this is why rate is different, try TCS they give a tracking number from here as well, last time the guy gave me a quote for $50 from Toronto

I dont understand whats going on these .... a request letter was sent to my wife by the end of march but she didnt receive it yet .
I am not the only one who is facing this prob .... a few other members also didn`t receive their letters .... i have already emailed them abt it 4-6 times but they are not responding . They have already checked with the postman and the post office .... i m suspecting this could be an intentional delay otherwise why would a bunch of ppl would lost their letters . Considering scenario , i would suggest everyone to plz write them and enquire abt ur case , cuz u never knw when would they request u something and time would pass ( especially those that have the same timeline as mine ).

I'm in the same boat and continue to do my follow ups. I'm also keeping a track of all my follow up email just in case the letter never arrives and their 45 day time frame expires. This whole process is such a mission.

Most of all they should learn to understand that we are human beings , not guinea pigs . I mean is this some kinda joke , who are they to decide that marraige is genuine or not . Are they running a breeding farm over here ??? who are they to decide who is good match for who ?? I saw someone posted the comment of a VO on caips notes , it was something like " education and age is similar / proportionate therefore feels marriage is bonafide " .... what the heck .... now they ll tell us who is better for who and decide our future ..... this is inhuman . Seems like i m in dark ages.

As I understand, you need to compile proof to establish your residency in Canada. Give them a call. Most of them offer free consultation anyways. From what I've read, I don't think you have severed residential ties with Canada given you have filed your taxes, held your Health Card, Driver's License (maybe), and all your proof of payments (whatever you have). Do you have any pre-authorized payments? i.e. car lease, gym membership, internet, etc? I'd suggest file what you have in consultation with a good immigration lawyer.

I found these guys in one of the desi newspapers - pilotcourierltd.com/. I have never used them, but looks quite cheap in comparison to the others.
