My wife received both letters via postal service. (Letter of review and re-medical)
We have since requested all further communications come through email as letter of review took 2 weeks to arrive from original date and re-medical took 1 week. Postal chews up valuable time in the deadlines on each letter, so email was the suggestion by others.

We have only been able to do Nikah and are planning on holding ruksati soon. Nikah was done over the telephone and consumation of marriage has not occured due to that, and that was their concern. Our response has been to detail time period for when ruksati will be done and to ensure timeline is followed completly as stated.

even if you are an officer at Federal Govt of Canada, you are subject to the same thing, if you are in Canada you would know that Michael Ignatieff's wife is waiting for her citizenship for over a year since it takes about 2 years now so she cant vote for him

I am enjoying my vacation, but my grand father is sick so we don't get enough time to do much of outings. He is feeling better though. Address on wife's ecas was gone and appeared twice and after two weeks she received a request letter for rePCC and IMM forms. We sent it all in the begining of March and nothing after that...still waiting...

Mere Bhai, not to criticise you, not to hurt your feeling. I fully understand your situation as I have been in the same picture.

Regardless what promise or detail time period for Rukhsati you are going to explained, It will not work with them. I did exactly the same even I signed a legal letter with citizenship with both our signature that If the Rukhsati/Reception will not done upon her arrival or if we dont provide you the proof we will be held liable for action and any decision by Govt against not standing by on our words will be acceptable as we are agreed.

No help at all and the way its look may be after reading the letter they put in bin and since Dec 9,2010 nothing they even dont want to open and dont want to talk on my case.

Money isnt an issue, an immigration lawyers services were aquired to go over the response and documents in the package my wife sent. For our situation he stated our response package is as good as it gets as the documentation my wife and I have is pretty detailed. My local MP was also consulted and she has provided additional efforts to engage the ministry.

No feelings hurt, its reality.

Unfortunately I cannot make the trip till October due reasons beyond my control. As my immediate family resides in Canada, my parents and I are making arrangements to go in October to complete ruksati and strengthen our application further. Not to mention the desire to be with my wife. If a decision against us is made before that trip so be it, we will aggressively argue our case at the appeal with the supporting documents we are still collecting. We will have the last laugh.

Everything we are doing now is to ensure we have done our best in presenting the best application possible, if CHC-ISB can look to evaluate the application on merrits of supporting documents presented rather than just looking at consumation of marrage, then are efforts could prevail, no harm in having high hopes ;D

Parden my language but consumation of marraige being the decision factor is horse shit, cause how many times do you hear of ruksati or other cultures equivalent being done, in fraud cases, where in the end consumation was never completed. I bet in those cases the communication between both individuals is so scarce weeks go by between messages. That is what frustrates me more than anything cause it is what it is and there is nothing I can do about that factor.
