Become-A-Loner bro my little kabootir is finally able to fly now, just two weeks ago I took him out of cage and in the practise session this my Kabootir prooved that he can fly 14 hrs with one 2 HRS stop in Dubai for DANA PANI under the sunny weather ;D Over the past last week I teach him the map of Canada to CHC office which he fully understand and yesterday I had his closed eyes test and he fully passed the test by showing where to turn left and where to turn right.

I am sending him next week to CHC to keep an eyes on them. If you need your letters back let me know so that I can include this info in his "TO DO LIST" as I have a fear "ke aap ke on love letters ko keera lag jye ga waha pare pare" and any one else out there If you dont trust on TCS give it to me and my Kabootir will deliver for you, make sure weight is not more than 1kg as this is his 1st international fly.

Nadia Baji walaikum salaam. Many congratulations to you I assume you were a silent reader of the forum. There is no harm in showing the VISA to travel agent in my opinion. Can you please share your husbands timeline with us if it is not personal to you.

yeah i was a silent reader im sorr for that my ubby aor is nov 2009 need supp forms in sep2010 remed done in jan2011 ppr 3march now yesterday they gor passport back with visa ALHAMDULLILAH but my bro one 2 ka 4 our file number and our all information in this visa how can we show it to the travel agent i hear 1st time about it i told my hubby that dont show visa to any one we suffered for it please if any one whos got informationa bout it plesae share it will be help for all thank u salam

Passport is all you need you dont need to show visa to anyone

Only at entry and exit point at immigration check points..

A copy wont hurt so no worries you can send them as long as the Original stays with him.

I understand your concern sister, If that is the case than ask in detail to travel agent does this information is required to book the ticket. OR may be try a different agent. If my wife will get VISA I will prefir to book online at PIA website, cost you a little bit more but you are in safe hands atleast.

An experienced travelor can advice further. However If the concern remained the same than use my name ONE 2 KA 4 JATT as a reference to travel agent. hehe just joking.

The airlines need copy of visa to issue a confirmed ticket otherwise airline can face penalty charges, if your husband goes to an authorized dealer of PIA than sub contractors, it should be ok to give the information better go to someone he does not know than to use a reference to get discount on ticket

first of all congrats nadia sister and A.salam.A good morning Pakistan and good evening toronto. Mashallah this forum is growing up as i come after so many days since my wife gives me all updates ,but i think lots of silent reader also we have here this is really helpful and nice forum since i involved my wife in this forum it decrease her stress may Allah help all of us

THIS IS BACK IN 2007 PEOPLE WAS COMPLAINING FOR THE LONG 6 MONTH WAIT AHAHAHAHAH

I would send the following:

I am writing on behalf of several individuals regarding family sponsorship applications being processed at our Canadian High Commission in Islamabad, Pakistan. We are concerned about the delays and the way our cases are being handled. In comparison to other countries in the region, the processing time is quite slow. Consequently, we would like to highlight this issue with you in the hopes something can be done to improve this processing time. Being apart from our loved ones is very difficult and seeing processing times continue to increase makes things worse.

At the bare minimum, we humbly request that the efficiency of CHC Islamabad be investigated, and if necessary, additional staff be added. For those cases that are being processed, documents are being requested that should be caught when processing occurs at CIC-Mississauga. Due to this, we have observed cases being delayed by more than 1 month.

Many of us have crossed the 6 month mark with no updates. Aside from this being frustrating, it also makes things very difficult to plan any functions here in Canada, such as wedding anniversaries, post-wedding celebrations, etc. Emailing CHC-Islamabad results in the same generic template reply of “to be patient”. Ideally, it would be nice to have an online mechanism to track progress of our cases.

We would love to help explore ways of making this process simpler not only for our cases but future cases as well. We look forward to your response. Thank you.
