This is our time to make ourselves calm by striking hard in CONSERVATIVES ELECTIONS COMPAIGN ....... NO PAKISTANI to give vote to CONSERVATIVES as they are the one who took simple timeline of family visa from 6 months to 21 months :'( .................. in Liberals time it was just 4 months for family visa ;D ..................... conservatives are tough on immigrants as mostly it is controlled by RACIST type people who openly says that immigration rules shd be changed. They just dont want any immigrant in Canada anymore so I would request everyone to come forward n start a self proclaimed comaign for LIBERALS n we might see a change caz from Kenney n his conservative party we ill see timeline changing to 30 months.
Yea Some might have questions why I am saying so as I am still PR n not citizen but I will say it is our problem as we have families here n in Pak n it effect us everyone. INSHALLAH my wifey n inlaws wil be casting their votes to LIBERALS n I hope all Pakis waiting for this killing immigration process to get solved should give their votes n their families votes to LIBERALS. :-*

I totally agree with you. I can assure everyone if Jason Kenny returns to office, you are looking at 30 months or more for spousal visa, I have been telling all of my non desi friends (through ideological debate) and desi's by telling them how anti-immigrant conservatives are .......... the number of occupations in demand list for Federal Skilled Workers was about 400 something which now stands at 29 occupations with 1000 applicants each per annum. I will make sure anyone who can vote and I could influence votes against conservatives and instead of all of us crying and consoling each other in this forum we can do something practically against conservatives and this is the only thing we can do against this party GET THEM VOTED AGAINST. As much as I like NDP I will still vote for liberals because I dont wish to divide the votes between NDP and Liberals and resultantly Conservatives will win the seat

hello thx for repaly ok my time line is this i appiled in apr 2009 they send AOR after 2 weeks and the send send letter in may 19 2009 ask more pic we send it n after apr 21 2010 interview was taken at the interview they ask more pic n we send it after i call mp she said they r checking backgorund after that decion made on this marrige genesis so i talk to lawer have to do apeal in 15 days so let see wht happpend i pray so much to allah but he did't lisen so frm now i wlll still pray but im not gone ask him anythink
i dont now how long its gone take to get visaaaaaaa

my husband is a canadian citizen so can he live wid me in pakistan for more than 6 months while the immigration is in the process ? :'(

Samar Jawad sister. Yes he can live there as he is a citizen. But how he is going to manage to live there for more than 6 month from financial or job point of view. Unless there is something which I am not aware of.

hhhina sister. All the best I am sure Lawyer will win the appeal. Now please give him/her exactly the same information and proof material you had previoulsy supplied to CHC.

actually in an accident his arm got fractured badly, n cux of tat he cannot work in canada n getting the medical insurance
instead of living there, he has come to pakistan to spend time with me n its been 4 months
he applied for my immigration on 8th oct .... i dint get any AOR but waiting to hear sumthing positive soon

Sorry to hear that sister. May Allah give him streangth and good health. I am sure he must have dealt with a lawyer to handle with insurance company for medical allownce. Some time there are different roles when some one is on social assistance or on some sort of benefit allownce as to inform the authorties when leaving Canada. Not sure in this case. But yes your husband can live there for more than 6 months or so on.
