yes you are absolutely we should have the unity and we all get together and raised this issue specially on electronic media & print media as well
and further more we should consult with Geo, Express news and Duynia news that they call our immigration minister in live program and discuss this issue with him and through telephone call we also tell them may be it will help us up to some extent because this is really hard specially for us (mean who apply for spousal visa)

Hi Everyone,

This is the response i just recieved from Mr Kenney's Office.

Dear Ms Ahmad,

This is in response to your correspondence of Jan 14, 2011 addressed to the Hounourable Jason Kenney minister of Citizenship, Immigration and
multiculturlism about the application of permanant residence in Canada by your Husband . I appologize for the delay in responding.

Family renunification is a priority of Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Accordingly every effort is made to complete the processing of spousal application as quickly as possible.

In addidtion to meeting the statutory requirements of being in good character, the visa officer must be satisfied that the applicant is admissable to Canada, and, in case of spouses, that relationship is genuine and not entered into for immigration purpose only.

Our records confirm that the visa officers are nearing completion of assessmento of this application. They will be contacting your husband soon, if they have not already done so.

Thank you for taking the time to bring your concerns to the Minister's attention. I trust that information is helful.

Hi Sidney,

I just wrote them when i sponsered my husband and how i am living here all alone and don't have any help at all. I have to look after my house that i bought and i can't work because my baby's small and it is very hard for me to manage everything all alone. I also told them how i was in the hospital for almost month and a half becasue my pregnancy was complicated and i delivered my baby at 34 weeks and how hard it is for me to do everything all alone and i am always so depressed and my husband hasn't seen the baby since she is born. These are the things i basically wrote to them and this is the response i've got. I also told them how i found jobs for my husband and he won't be a burden on the government because my husband is a professional cheff and we are planning to open up a resturant here once he gets the visa.

I didn't know that i would even get an answer back. one night i was so depressed and i just started to jot down some notes and then i wrote to minister kenney's office just the heck of it and thought may be they will answer me back and it took them one month to write me back.

Saroo thank you very much for your response it seems that you're suffering a lot more than anyone else it is really hard to support what you're supporting even for the baby to be born and the father is not able even to see him/her which is very sad fighting alone in this country i hope you'll get your PPR soon and every person in this forum salam alaikoume.
