Don't worry about your address update on ecase. My file is also in que for initial review and I had to change my wife's address. They told me that they have kept my new address on the file, but ecase still shows the old one.
So I guess they will update that address on ecase when my file will go through the initial review.

It doesn't matter, if you have already sent them a letter. May be they will update address while they will make initial review of the file, but this is for sure that they need an original signed letter by fax or more appropriately by mail to update the address, telephone number or related data.

This means they'll b doing Background check which take 45days to 5 Months all depends on ur travel history........Once is over u'll get PPR.

I did in July but still same on the ecase. so its mean they will update during intial review for sure.

My hubby did since April 2 tym fax N 1 tym TCS but still its same ................yah it says they will going to place in his file ....u N me almost same AOR's.........i hope they will .........before i was worried bz some of the members have asked for the change of address request n its changed..... so this mean u n me on same board.

For those who are talking about change of address, I made a change of address online and it appeared on Ecase after two weeks.

Locally I called the 1 800 242 2100 and they changed it right way.

We can only change Sponsor person Address online ,but not an Applicant.

for principal applicant, he/she can make change of address by faxing the new address to CHC-ISB with his/her signature quoting the file no:Immigration file no: B0...............

Don't be frustrated, sometimes it takes upto 8 weeks, so he will get it back soon, just relax

n for how long is ws disappeard ???

it disappered on aug 26th and stayed that way for a MONTH! i think it disappears when they do ur initial review.

Yah i got the same response 8 to 9 Months a go.... but nothing got changed. My hubby Address still same .

swera it said in the email. "the change of address resulting from the future reception at this office of the information noted above will not be reflected on E-Cas" so u wont know it has changed untill u get correspondence from them
