MashAllah I have good news to share after 16 months. I got my PPR today I can't believe it...Only today my dad was telling me that since you got a call yesterday now they'll check your medical and then send you PPR so be ready, you'll definitely be hearing something this week...so I said they'll be off for eid maybe..so he said no, i know, my instinct says it'll be today or monday...so i started laughing...

And 2 hours later, I got the PPR! Alhamdolillah =)

I can't thank God enough, and then ofcourse my family on this forum who helped me throughout....I met (hypothetically) some of the nicest people here, and despite all the disagreements, arguments, jokes, discussions...Im sure everyone on the forum would be there for the other person through thick and thin as they've seen similar times and know how difficult it is to live without one's spouse. I'll still be visiting the forum and keep you guys updated, and ofcourse give my input where I can...


Last but not the least, I love you all for helping me through this

Hello everyone

It is FINALLY my turn to freak out!!! By God's grace, after gruesome 18 months my husband has gotten his PPR
I just wanted to thank everyone for praying and I will continue to pray for all of you guys...God is great so hang in there...
Will keep you guys updated!!!

The one who hasn't received it yet should read this joke, think of chc Islamabad and just chill out.

A middle aged woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital. While on the operating table she had a near death experience. Seeing God she asked "Is my time up?" God answered, "No, you have another 40 years, 2 months and 8 days to live."
Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a facelift, liposuction, and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair color. Since she had so much more time to live & CHC Islamabad won't give her the visa to let her join her huband in Canada for long time anyway. she figured she might as well make the most of it.
After her last operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was hit by a car and died immediately.
Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had another 40 years, why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the car?"God replied, "I didn't recognize you."

secondly... anybody who applied for their childerns citizenship from Pakistan.? when Canadian high commission return original parent citizenship card? can somebody reply me i would very much appreciate it!

Well applied at CIC-M in July 2011
and file was transferred at CHC-I in September 2011
So waiting for time line update and some good news on the proposed immigration law :-X
