ecase address disappeared again today. It just came back on 22nd after 3 weeks and today disappeard again. I like that. Sound like in 3 weeks they did review on my provided proof and today may be file went for next stage processing OR may be to senior officer for review. 
I got a reply from CIC yesterday to an email inquiry I sent last monday regarding my passport (that it is expiring in november so whether I should get it renewed). This is the reply I got:
Dear Client,
This is in response to your email (see below).
Your application is currently in process and is in queue for review by an immigration officer. Documents were received on 22 Sep 2011 and have been forwarded to applicant's file. Applicant should apply for new passport once the current passport expires.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
Please note that we will be unable to reply to messages which do not include either the name AND date of birth of the primary applicant or the file number under which your application is being processed.

I think they received my re-med on the 22nd which I had got done on the 13th. Or maybe they have accessed it or something:s However, I went today to give my passport for renewal as then rush for Hajj passports etc will begin and I want a passport in hand to send as soon as I get PPR inshAllah.
Just returned from the passport office, and my address on e-cas has disappeared again :s
What do all the pro's on the forum think? Danny has been telling me not to take their email seriously as kaafi blunders bhi kartey hain yeh log (the last reply I received from them in august- usmein spelling mistakes and grammatical errors bhi they)

Or, God forbid, it might just be a system glitch since e-cas wasnt opening yesterday and their website had more or less crashed :-X

As far as I know you joined us recently you shouldn't make assumptions about any senior member and you should show some level of respect in your posts.

I was just finishing praying and saying dua for my Zuhur namaz, and at the very momont the bell rang, and sure enough it was the TCS guy. Mashallah i got my passport back with the visa today. Thanks to all the members of the forum who stayed by me, guided me through the whole process and prayed for me all this time. Alhamdulillah Allah has been kind on me. Allah ka jitna shukar karoon woh kam hai.
