I was getting my bachelors and masters degrees in law done. During the time my family made frequent visits to the UK. I changed several accommodations during my stay in the UK due to lapse of lease contract and I stayed in more than one city, Newcastle for bachelors and london for my professional degree. Now, I am a fully qualified lawyer with good experience, I have a UK publication in law to my name, the CHC have all this information and yet they have taken so much time. And yes, I did provide them with a PCC from England too.

Maybe they thought his visit/work visa expired and he overstayed as he didn't even visit Pakistan for 4 years.

Lol, by the way when CHC runs background checks they check for everything. I don't think they base such matters solely on assumption since they get all the proof anyway. I have been told previously that if you live in more than one country the process gets delayed automatically, and in my case I lived in the UK for fours years. So I guess that is the main cause.

any one has idea if you get over weight with luggages in PIA airline how much extra do you have to pay ????

I guess its 1000 to 1500 per kilo. And if you're too much in excess you'll have to take some stuff out, place it in another box and they'll ship it to your new address where you're going. You still have to confirm this with PIA because this is what I did when flying with British Airways.

Don't get me wrong. I didn't mean to assume that you overstayed on your Visa or anything

It could have been anything. Just like you mentioned that you were doing your bachelors and masters and you didn't go back.

Hello , I am about send documents to CHC-ISL , I want to know should i write FILE # on top of the envelope or no ?

hello everyone,
so we got our caips notes today..
just by going through the caips I realized that all through the past 19 months our file is being moved from one queue to another..
and just wasting our time.. it seems completely unfair to us when we have provided all kinds of proof...and applied soo long ago..

anyways here is the summary

our initial review was done in feb, the VO said our marriage is genuine (ALHAMDOLLILAH).

we sent pcc and other proofs in april and they were placed on file in may!! and then the notes say that after placing on file, our file was moved to EDE queue.

then beigning of aug we emailed them, that email was recorded in caips and then a note on tht day says, email was forwarded to fh for rvw as well.

then that fh says that it appears no one requested meds, even though i asked that meds be issued in feb!!!!! file sent to registry for meds


(note that on that day we received two emails, one with the standard reply and one saying that medical will be sent out in coming days)

but right after tht mid august, our file goes to some other guy who finally wakes up and realizes that our forms are old now, so he sends a request for forms!!


just amazing how they work!! and we still don' have our remedical...please please please everyone pray for us..

guys you know after getting PPR wait is really worse..... some people were telling in this forum ,but I was thinking that after getting PPR I will be so relax ,but no all wait is apart. And after PPR it's even harder :

Yes do write the file number on top. It is recommended otherwise sometimes they misplace your file.
