Lonely w/o hubby sugar, I aint that social. That was a joke. Anyhow u know ur frend best. I just wish her and all the people on this forum and wherever they may be to be unted with their spouses and loved once as soon as possible with the permission of Allah.
It really sucks to be away from hubbies and wifies and kids but then again there are rules and regulations for everything in life.

According to one of the Canadian Immigration updates in NOV or OCT 2010, more spouses n dependent children are suppose to get Immigration.....around 1500-2000 MORE I believe....then why someone mentioned that CHACHU said to delay the process?

Website also mentions that 8000 pakis immigrate to canada every year.

Any comments?

yeah yr 2011 is d yr for more spousal immigration...........

When we send email inquiry to CHC Islmabad normaly after how long they reply back? I have sent them email to check my application status more than a week now but neva got reply back... pls advise

They will reply back, sometimes they take two weeks to reply. If you go through the MP'S office they reply back the next day. That's what i been doing and my MP'S office got reply the very next day. I think they are getting too many e-mails and sometimes half of them they just try to ignore.
Just wait for few more days otherwise go through your MP'S office and see how fast you will get the answer.

I've noticed a lot of people mention the date that ISL started processing their application. However, the CIC website says that total processing time should be calculated from the time the application is received, not when processing started. Can anyone clarify this?

I have been told by MP office that they donot contact consulates directly as they are not obliged to respond back to MP office. MP contacts Canadian immigration where they give updates to the MP office, Immigration office receives all the updates when there is any movement on your file consulate.

Hi Everyone!
I just joined but have been reading this blog for a few months. I'm a canadian sponsoring my husband from pakistan. Islamabad started to process our application January 2010. The end of this month is 1 yr for us. I recently emailed the embassy for an update and got the same email others here got that he's going to be scheduled for an interview which won't be before February. His medical also expired in September. I was wondering if anyones spouse has already been interviewed and what they ask. I'm worried about the interview. I have an immigration consultant I have been working with to sponsor him and she says I shouldnt be worried but I can't help but only worry.
We did a small nikah July 2009 I didn't want to do my ruksathi there since my siblings couldn't go with me. However we did have a proper nikah and even had a small dinner reception after. My husband and I recently met up in another country for 8 days and decided to do an early honeymoon. I am reading here that the embassy only asks for a interview if you haven't had a ruksathi but i'm hoping us going on a honeymoon/vacation together will help just as much. can you all please advise. i'm beyond frustrated and its even worse now after spending almost 2 weeks with him recently.

Inshallah everything will go well, I have known even females taht have had to go for interview eventhough they did rukhsati so dont worry alot. from what i heard they do ask a lot of qusetions so tell him to take his nikah pictures, pre-post wedding pictures, take video if u ahve n e just incase...also just make sure ur husband knows u inside out cuz htye do ask alot of quesnos (from what i heard).

if he has any letters, emails, phone bills cards, gifts etc that u have given him after submitting appliaction take those too...

btw...if u dotn mind me asking which part of pak r u from, because from what i heard, if u r in khi they dont call u for n interview because u have to travel to punjab (does not make n e sense to me but thats wut i have heard), so just curious....dont mind me asking plz and also when did u submit ur application to cpc mississauga (just tarying to calculate an over all time line)

Thanks Greatperson. Well we did our nikah July '09 and filed papers in Oct'09 with CHC Mississauga. Islamabad started to process January 2010. We do not have any pics of us together before the nikah but have some from nikah and the dinners we had with our families after the nikah. we also have other pics of us outing together in pakistan while i was there for the nikah. I wasnt there for very long because i didn't get much time off from my job. If they are only looking to see that its a legitimate relationship then we went on a honeymoon and have pics of that which have already been sent to the embassy. my husband is also in karachi. my mother in law's now here visiting me too so i plan to submit pics of her w/my family here also to show proof of it being a genuine relationship.

How long has your process been? I'm hoping this will be over soon before the summer iA. we mostly communicate by phone so all i can really show is phone bills.
