Hello Guys, I need to knw if any1 applied through online application?wat r the timelines for online process. Or should i go for paper based. I heard some1 got the medical in less thn a week through online system..please guys need ur guidance

Please apply online. Its is much faster and requires far less documents. You will receive an email from them telling you to get the medical (i got mine the next day) and you will be told when to send in your passport once your application is approved.

Can you tell us that when they ask for the passport ,Then how we can send that ,if i send from Fedex gerry then what shoull i send only passport ? Or also other docs e.g. affidavits etc. And what should i mention while sending the passport ?
 
If you apply online you only need a few things:
Application
Family information application
Digital Photograph
Scanned copy of passport
Scanned copy of the acceptance letter
Bank Statement or financial support documents (scanned)

You pay the fee via credit card and all done.

In my case; i got an email from them asking me to send the passport. The passport is to be sent via any mail/courier service (the usual Gary or TCS Canada Visa people will NOT take it). They asked me to write my application number when sending the passport. Nothing else was asked.

So how long did ur entire Process Take ?
 
and how long does it take to send and receive the passport? how long does it stay with the embassy?

App submitted on 19th April, passport request on 15th May.

Ultra99; good question.
In my case I am not sending them the passport for another 3 weeks so can't answer your question. I am leaving for a trip and will be gone for 2+ weeks so will send them the passport when I return.

Can you share your profile?? in which course u got admission and what is your financial status??
