Exchange companies work well, but consider this, the way some exchange companies have been over night closed down by government orders! one could be stuck with a bank draft made by an exchange companie. Secondly almost all exchange companies are under very harsh scrutiny by international bodies and governments (they were/are actively involved in money laundering and terrorist money routing networks) therefor I would suggest to avoid them at all costs, the solution might be a couple of hundred dollars cheaper but is it worth the risk ??? Banks charge more, but their transactions are valid, legal, and in the books ,rest is your own personal choice !

Of course, it seems good option.

I am Sep, 2004 Applicant, case transferred from Isbd to london in June, 2010
Only recieved doc. updation letter from London in Nov, 2010 - sent updated file in mar, 2011

Since then no response, even have some general reply to each mail - never received medical.

Can anybody have any idea what will be the future of cases like me.

When can we expect our medicals - decision.

What if, i submit my RPRF before medical /PPR so that nothing should remain left on my part and i can then show them my eagerness and interest as a long waiting applicant for past 6.5 years, please share your valueable advice.

Hi to all..................Today is 31st day of sending my Passport (18-05-2011) for visa stamping to CHC Islamabad and my case online status is still showing IN PROCESS........need your comments Friends....

u 'ill get Med.....soon. no need to send RPRF before med.................................

Dear drmunir

if i'm not wrong it is less than six months but if it is more than six months then have u submitted his pcc from that country?

I think only those applicants who have some travel history in theire passports are waiting for ppr(i'm specifically talking about march 2011 remedical cases) and inshaAllah we all are going to hear good news.

Dear Ayan Nadeem ,

You should not send Right of Permanent Resident Fee without CHC letter, because in ,my case they have asked me to provide them latest family pictures, few more forms which are mentioned in their given web site, bank statement which must be equivalent to proof of liquid funds, Right of Permanent Resident Fee of my and my wife and Passport of all family members.
So in my opinion you must wait till their reply. By the way, I am December 2004 applicant and my file is more advance stage as compared to you. I have submitted my medical on March 2011 for the second time. My previous medical was on January 2010. But CHC response is unpredictable, I have also no news about my passports. My online status is also same i.e (in Process) inspite of already done medical.

So don't worry and wait.
Best regards,
Atif
