Buffalo just sent us an emaill after I asked them about our backgroundcheck.
They said the background check is done and our medical expires 28 April 2011.
We did our medical 28 April 2009 so they gave us an extra year!!
We have already applied for new workpermit because the old one is expiring 28 febr. 2011
Does anybody know how long it takes Buffalo to make the desicion after background check is finished??

y our our ecase is nor changing ,nothing is mentioned regarding transfer of file in my ecase does it mean that my case will be process here????

I think yes as they transfer they change the ecas at that time if the process is complete then i think we are in few cases which left here as they are saying that the cases are sent to lond but in fact they are not this is only their policy to delay for next year , this is my opinion.

I sent an email to CHC Islamabad on 15.12.2010 and today I have received the following reply. The reply is very interesting by reading that I may contact them after November,2010 which has already passed. What is happening with us or what is happening this at CHC Islamabad. I think it is not CHC but Pakistani local government institution in a remote village. Seniors members are requested to comment on this reply of CHC.

As of April 1, 2010, applications for permanent residence under the Economic categories for citizens or residents of Pakistan will be processed by our office in London, UK. The economic categories are comprised of Federal skilled Workers, Federal Investors, Self-Employed, Entrepreneurs, Provincial Nominees and Quebec-selected Permanent Workers and Business People. Although Islamabad will continue processing a few applications that are close to completion, the majority are being transferred to London. The file transfer of existing permanent residence applications under the Economic categories is currently underway.

We, the Islamabad Office, are not updating your file or adding any information to your file in response to your email.

However, the information below may be useful to you:

If you have received instructions from our office in Islamabad to submit documents, please submit the documents to our mission in Islamabad as instructed.

If you have received instructions from CIO Sydney to submit your application package, please submit these documents to our mission in London. If you have already submitted your application package to Islamabad, then Islamabad will automatically forward this on to London.

If you are enquiring if your application has been transferred and will be processed in London, please be advised that the London Office will contact you when they are in a position to begin processing your application. We regret that neither our office nor London office is able to provide status updates at this time. You may wish to resend your enquiry after November 2010 to the London Office.

At this point, it is too early to tell what the new processing times will be for these cases in London.

chc made it simple by replying this kind of silly answers that they hv no interest or instructions to process a single file in isb whether close to completion or not and also it is evident tht they earlier hoped to complete file transfer till nov 2010 which got extended till december 2010. Now u can send enquiry to london mentioning this response in jan 2011 and probably u will get something out of it. Moreover I also wrote to minister in nov against which I was confirmed that all files of isb are in process of shifting to london and london office will contact asap upon rec file. So guys we know now tht why the delays r there. Just wait and Allah will help us
