Can anyone here answer my query please.

Does anyone here has any idea how long it takes CHC Islamabad / immigration officer to process an application once its under review? I got an email from them earlier this week that my application is in process and under review. I was of the opinion that most of the delay in processing is due to long queue of applications but once your application is with an immigration officer its processed pretty quickly. But as it turned out even the review process is taking long.

I was hoping I'll hear from the embassy and get done with the medical sometime in July so I'll have at least a month after medical but I'm kind of worried now that if I'm not done with medical in July I might not be able to join lectures in Sep on time.

Can anyone here shed some light on it please?

No body can say any thing. its depends on ur case and luck. there are many people who get medical the next day they applied and some who are waiting from months..Just pray, InshaAllah everything is going to be alright. Can you tell me ur program of study??

I think your course is the main problem for your delay...for college applicants you need 90% luck + 10% profile... there is a boy Aneeq last year who waited for 1 year for visa... Your process is delayed just because of diploma.. You should wait and see what would happen.... but dont worry because of my comments, its reality that its difficult to get visa for diploma but not impossible..many people got their visas too but it took some time. Wish you best of Luck and InshaAllah you will get your visa soon.

i have applied for study permit on may 26 documents were received by CHC on May 27th 2013. Its almost two months and i havent heard from the visa guys. My proof of funds was more than adequate. my orientation begins on 27th aug and i am really confused as to whether i should defer my admission or what. today is 21st i could only hope and pray that a medical call arrives on 24th July but i really dont think should be the case after reading the blog

Secondly i have recently lost my ID card so i only have ID cards copy to take to the medical exam. passport is with the visa officers i dont think i have the passport copies .

Please advice on the two matters. the first being more important for now

I thing you are college applicant that's why so much delay in your processing. am i right??
Secondly dont worry about medical, once you get medical call, there will be a way..

why does it take college applicants longer time... but that is not fair!!! when the college has itself sent an admission whats the point of the delay???
