Please help me with it. if one is from Haryana or Punjab, can s/he apply at CHC Delhi for student visa? or CHC Chabdigarh only?

For applicants residing in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh & Haryana (Residents of district Ambala, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar & Panchkula), your application should normally be submitted at The Consulate General of Canada at Chandigarh.

For applicants residing in any other part of India except the above, your application should normally be submitted at The Canada High Commission at New Delhi.

No, you can't. You application will be revert back to the CHC office as applicable for your jurisdiction

@enfield i heard that if one have the residence proof for last six month can apply through from Delhi chc if one is from other state which comes under chc chd.

Hi,

Not aware of this rule. All I know that your current mailing cum residential address decides your jurisdiction.

There is NO benefit of changing the concerned CHC office.
