My friend faced a similar situation for the may intake. He applied on 18 th march and his mandatory orientation was scheduled on 2nd may. Just by the time he was about to give up on 28 th of april he recieved his visa on 29th and booked his flight for 1st of may for the orientation ! It waz so hectic to plan journey in a single day. Hope we don't have to face this bulls**t..!!

goin by the timelines.. i have already given up hope.. last year they did it with my cousin.. n now i m afraid... i will have same fate....
last year my cousin applied in mid june.. for sep intake.. and in mid sep they returned his PP WITHOUT visa.. stating ur course already started and i m afraid you will not be able to join now.. so we r denying you study visa for this time.. u can apply for next session with NEW visa fees..

i think they should double the visa fees and reduce the processing time to half.. i will be more than happy to pay... just like US visa.. i got my PP back in 3 working days..

They must plan something to speed up their processing time.. that must be faster even than SPP. There's no other way out. We have to wait till the status change. Hope we ll hear some good news this week anyhow i applied on 20Th July . when did u applied ??

really they HAVE to do something.. maybe hire more staff.. or increase the working days from 5 to 6 esp during this period..

Yea. Em expecting that i ll hear reply by this week. I can't wait till next week. I gonna get surprise on my Bday. it can be either way good or bad.. :-\ so jus hoping and fingers crossed :-X
