;D Ok maybe you are right buddy,I dont know much about it.My Sis got a multiple visa and I also saw mutiple visas in the office of consultants thatz why I thought Student visas are always mutiple visas. ;D

Mine is multiple entry too. I think stundent visa wala reason is true to this.

Have you completed BTech?
I always thought you are doing it.
I dont know about other two reasons but I think you got purpose of visit because of choosing a diploma course after completing BTech here.
Do you added strong SOP stating your family ties in india that always attract you to India?
Now for third reason(don't have travel history) it is meaningless reason given by embassy,cant say about it.

Bai ji u have done DEGREE here in india but still u applied for DIPLOMA course so he rejected but reason is invalid

I applied for a simple diploma after graduation. Got the visa stamped. Its all shear luck.
