@ ms.mech: Bhaji What kind of questions they ask at port of entry. and also what documents we should carry with us at the time of immigration.
My personal experience
First of all in flight they will issue you Landing card in which you have to declare certain items if you have them along(like commercial tools, milk/meat products, tobbaco, alcohol, gifts, gold).
Then after Landing, at first point, immigration officer asked where I was from, why, if I was ever here anytime before, where I was going to stay, if I have any certain materials along with me.
Then He directed me to other room where they asked where I was going to study and about how much fees I paid and then he issued me studying permit.
Then collected my baggage and handed over landing card to customs and straightly went out of airport.
There was another girl standing beside me, IO asked her why she was joining course, when where . why she chose this course specifially and proof of funds, GIC, etc etc but still issued her study permit.
Remember to keep smile on your face no matter how much you are tired and greet them.
Have all your documents ready and in order as IO might ask for them anytime. Take all your certificates in folder in your hand baggage not checked baggage.
Take passport, visa letter, gic, offer letter, welcome package, loan letter(if any), certificates copy notarized.
Don't forget any certificates at home, you might need them that anytime here.
