I already have a valid visa but I didn’t enter Canada yet so no study permit
Sure you do, it is attached to authorization with your old LOA.... Once you re-apply and approved, you will receive another authorization letter and can use same TRV to travel.

You need to apply for the new Study permit. Once approved, you can use same TRV to travel
This is what is written in CIC
A study permit is a written authorization issued by an officer allowing foreign nationals to study in Canada

I don’t have a study permit yet because no officer issued it to me.

Its totally up to you
Thank you, I am sorry for bothering you. Just one more last question, what should I answer to the question, do you have a study permit? If I answered yes, they ask for transcripts and university registration, if I answered no , it will be like applying all over again which means the visa I have stamped will no longer be valid.
Thank you so much in advance.

I can understand.I am in the same boat, have submitted my 2nd application on June 5th for Fall 2022.There is no other way.
What did you answer to the question, do you have a study permit?
Did you reapply using same forms exactly as the first one , as if repeating the first application?

Yes, they have to answer NO. It's a fresh application (so like they've never applied before). Once the new application is approved, the current trv will be cancelled/invalidated and a new one will be issued.

Do you think I should have informed them while they still processing the application. But then how? Once the application is submitted there’s no way to change it.

If your application was still under processing (i.e. you didn't receive an approval/rejection yet), you could have just sent them your new LOA and you would have been fine to switch. Once a decision has been made and communicated to you though, the only way to change DLI is to reapply.

Ok. Thank you.

Do I have to write the UCI in the scheduled application for temporary residence?
I already have one.
