I was admitted to Concordia University, and applied for a study permit using Concordia admission letter. Now, I am admitted to McGill university too, and I prefer McGill.
My study permit is going to be issued at Montreal Airport. Is it possible to change the university name in the study permit before it is issued in the airport? Should I contact the visa office? Should I apply again for the study permit?
Thank you

The study permit doesn't mention the name of the institution. Just go through immigration procedure as normal and then later inform the old University that you're switching to the other University. As long as your level of study remains the same, you don't need to get a new study permit or do anything else.

Is this true still? Because I have proof that on Study Permit, Name of institution is specifically mentioned....

Is Concordia in Ontario? Because McGill is in Quebec and Quebec has different immigration requirements for student visa applicants compared to the rest of Canada. Better ask the nearest Canadian embassy or consulate to be sure.

Both in the same province Quebec

Use Concordia in the airport. You can change it by informing Concordia. You don't need to notify anyone else except university if you change same lvl program.

need not to worry at all!
the stamped visa ie TRV does not have the name of the university.....when u land,u just need to show McGill acceptance letter.....visa officer doesnt have any clue that u have earlier applied in concordia!

so just buckle up and join Mcgill....
