wat if some one changes his NOC code with a matching code in the list of 38 occupations and let the cic know through a letter regarding the request to consider him as the NOC mentioned in the letter not the one in the application is it possible that they will accept it then ?or shud he apply later again after getting refund.

Maybe if they do accept it, they will be looking at your application more closely as to ensure you didn't change your NOC just to be on the 38 list. I'm in a similar situation and I'm not worried because my husband has certificates that states he's a certified Industrial Electrician and he has worked in this field for several years, he was even a Electronics Teacher at a local college, but we didn't use NOC 7242 on our application so there is where we have a problem. So the worst case scenario is that we may have to re-apply.
