Changing study program after Student Visa approval

Hello guys,

Blessed day to all. Did anybody know someone who change their study program entirely different from their work and academic background/experience after getting their student visa approved? Is that possible or rather safe even if I inform IRCC about the sudden shift? I initially wanted to take Construction Management but I intended to change to computer related program though my experience is in Engineering and I have an Architect degree. I hope somebody can shed light on my concern.

you can do whatever you want once approved.
don't forget after course you have to apply for pgwp so again ircc will question why you changed and why dint you inform.

You need to inform IRCC else could affect future applications plus in theory your current college/program could report you for non attendance
