Hi everyone! I am an April 2020 applicant and my ecas status was updated to DM on August 23, no oath invitation yet.
I am planning on moving from BC to Quebec next month and I am wondering if I should change my address or just keep it as it is since the oath ceremony is virtual and I don't have to attend in person.
I am aware that changing the address would delay my application even more and I am not willing to take that risk. So my question is, should I just wait for the oath invitation from the Vancouver office and try to attend the ceremony from Quebec without changing my address at all? Would it possible to ask them to send my citizenship certificate to a different address than the one I have on file on the day of the ceremony? Or should I keep my home address and change my mailing address only once I move to Quebec?
Thank you

My advice, keep it like that. First, Quebec office is the slowest. Second, if asked, you can always say that you needed time to transfer your stuff to a new place so didn’t want to update the address just yet.
After the ceremony tell to an officer your new address and say that you just moved. Request to send the certificate to the new address.

Thanks for the advice! Will do just that.
