changing profile after ITA

Hi All,
this is my first entry to this awesome forum!
I will get directly to my question.
I have applied for express entry last month. based on my score I received an ITA.
Under the job experience question I put 3 years.
I have been working in my current full-time job for just over a year.
Before that I did freelance and contract work for about 2 years. (some while I was in school)
I realize that I will be required to show proof for these 2 years of self employment, which will be very difficult to do.

Therefore, I want to change this section to be 1 Year of job experience which I can provide proof for easily.
I calculated my score after the change, I still get a higher score than the lowest score in the pool that I was selected in. (though just over it)

My concern is, would this change effect my application or show it as misrepresentation?
my PR application score would be lower than from my initial EE profile. (but still over the lowest score)

Has anyone done a similar thing and been approved?

Thanks

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
The change is fine if:

1 - You are sure that this won't put you below the cutoff score of the draw for which you were invited.
2 - If you are FSW that this change from 3 years to 1 does not affect your eligibility (67 out of 100 points)

You can then explain in a LOE the reason for the change.

Thanks DelPiero07 for your fast reply,
yes I am sure,
My Skill transferability factors was 100 before (3 years), after the change it became 75 point (1 year).

Hi everyone....
I created an express entry profile and have received an ITA recently. A few days back, i noticed that i had entered my spouse's IELTS score incorrectly in one of the sections. This reduces the CRS score by 2 points. However, our profile still meets the minimum eligibility. Can i go forward with the same ITA and add a LOC or do i decline the ITA and wait for the next draw?

You may consider the feedback from @DelPiero07:
