Hi guys:

My medical results were received by Buffalo in April and ever since then I have been waiting for the E-Cas status to change. Then I read on this forum that people who got their meds done last year haven't even got their ppr so I have kind of just given up now. Given that my file was to be transferred to Ottawa (which appears to be one of the lowest processing offices), I don't think I can get my ppr until the end of the year.

Which leads to my real question: can I change jobs now? Will the VO contact my employer again for reference/BG check? If they would not it would be perfect; but if they would, do you think it would lead to the termination of my provincial nomination and the whole application? I am applying under the Nova Scotia PNP, international graduate stream.

Any input is appreciated.

One thing is for sure, If you change job, you need to notify them. however, they may or may not verify your new job so it may coz a little delay.. On the other hand, It might be for the better actually so they could look up for your file and may actually just decide you to send PPR.

Notifying them of something is like following up on the progress of your application in a subtle way. And it has worked well for some.. Good luck.
