Hi,

So by end of this week, we are submitting our package!

Ques: My sponsor is going to move to a new house by 26th Feb 2017. Which address should we put on the forms, the current one or the new one (where moving on 26th Feb)?

Ques: I (PA) going to switch my job on 27th Feb 2017, would it make any difference to any info in the forms?

Thanks!

1. put the information that is true at the time the application is submitted. IRCC communicates with the sponsor by EMAIL, so it doesn't matter if they move after submitting the application.

2. no, it doesn't matter. what you do for work and whether you change jobs after submitting the application is not a concern to IRCC. if they want updated information from you, they will ask for it down the road.

again, the information presented in the applicaiton should be true as of the date you sign and send it in. there is no reason to put future employment or residential information in there, since technically it hasn't even happened yet.

both of these are non-issues.

Hey, do we have to inform them about change of house or the job by any means of communication once we are done with the change?

no, it is not required. though if the sponsor wants to update their address after receiving AOR or sponsor approval, they can certainly do that.

Just asking, if we don't inform them about it then isn't it like that the information in our forms are no longer valid and true?

because it is not required, and your job changes are of no interest to IRCC. Your job has nothing to do with spousal sponsorship, and it's quite common for people to change jobs during a course of 6-12 months. again, if IRCC wants updated employment information from the applicant (which they wont), they will ask for it. If the sponsor wants to provide an updated mailing address, then they can certainly do that, nothing's stopping them from doing it. Canada is a free country. it is not going to affect the processing of either application and it won't be seen as "misrepresentation" since the changes happened after signing the application.

here's an idea. why not just wait 10 days to send in your application and avoid the issue entirely?

and? 10 days is hardly a wait and won't significantly impact your approval timeline.

to each their own. your choices are pretty clear here.
