Then this is an adoption of convenience and should not be approved. I would wait to see what the results of your meeting are. We’re you not asked to provide death certificates for the parents at the meeting? The biological parents were present at the interview. The officer asked them questions and they answered sincerely. The child is the last of 6 and actually a product of failed contraceptive and they don't have the financial resources to take care of the child hence the reason for putting the child up for adoption. Meanwhile, the officer told us he's satisfied with the adoption relationship
This a clear case of adoption of convenience which should be denied. I am not sure why the representative didn’t tell you that this would not qualify as an adoption based on Canada’s definition. And moreover, adoption of convenience doesn't mean application would be denied. They also have a Procedural Fairness system that will suggest you remove the child to let your application got through.

I never said your family would be denied. I said the application shouldn’t go through with the additional child who has been added through an adoption of convenience. So the case officer was not that positive? You story has now changed.
