Hi all,

I originally applied in May 2010 and received my 2nd file no. in April 2012 and I’m still waiting.

Now I’m living as a residence in UAE and I’m planning to move to live in another country (IRAQ )

Does this will affect my application status as I’m originally applied from UAE and I received the 1st and 2nd file numbers here?

Please advice as I don’t want to lose my application during this movement from UAE

thanks

Hello,
I think it will not affect your application. You have to update them about your address and they will have to decide whether to transfer your file or not.

If i were you i will not transfer my file except they want to do it. It takes a long time to transfer a file. If you had a good address where you can receive your mails i xould have advised you not to change your address, but if you do not have then change your address and inform them.

All will be fine. It took one year to transfer my file so boring and tiring.

help it helps

The Visa processing office for Iraq is Amman, Jordan. As you have received your second AOR, almost one year ago from London office, file transfer to Amman will be difficult. Even though London office do that, you will be back in the 'Q' at Jordan office. Any how you should write to your visa office about the change of country and give contact mailing address and e mail address.

I am a Pakistani National but lived in UK for last 10 years and applied at LVO. Then moved to Pakistan on 15th June 2012. Informed LVO before I moved. My status turned to "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on 18th June 2012. But because Pakistani applicants have to apply at LVO any way so they didnt transfer my file and after that they required add. docs and PCC, and later on Medicals too and now waiting for PPR1. It really depends if you can afford to keep UAE as your visa office then you can mention it to them that you are temporarily moving to where ever.
