Check this link. This might speed up the CEC application processing as well.

Why do you say this will speed up the process for CEC applicants? It's for all applicants? I did not see anything specific about CEC!!

I did my medical around 2 weeks ago (after the in-effect date). Received an e-mail from CPP-O with instructions and form with my picture on it.

So I am just wondering how this is relevant in my particular case? I am not sure if my doctor adhered to the new rules/or knew about them.

whatever the case be...it will definitely speed up the process...

Am also in the same boat . :(

Hmm... you want to go back to your DMP's office and have him/her resend your results using the new method(to be on the safe side).

I will give him a call tomorrow, and inquire about this development. Hoping he already knows about them!

Friends, read between the lines. What CIC says is "With the implementation of eMedical and the electronic submission of immigration medical examinations, all forms have been revised and some new ones have been added to comply with the new eMedical environment as well as the new GCMS release. All panel physicians, eMedical-enabled or not, will be required to use them."

So this is how I read it. Not all panel physicians may be eMedical-enabled. I think all DMPs should comply with the new forms and the new GCMS release.

Seniors, please correct me if I am wrong.

I just spoke with the secretary at my DMP's office. She is aware of this but it hasnt kicked in yet because not all DMP's have such technologies in place. She assured me that what they are doing right now is in compliance with CIC. And the only country which is currently doing the eMedical process is Australia. She mentioned that it wont kick in in its true form before the end of 2012.

nice to know this information. Thanks Red.
