Looking for some advice - I requested statements of employment from a previous employer and used that information to develop my EE profile and gain points for foreign work experience.
Now I am trying to get the same employer to complete an employer reference letter and I am having a lot of trouble with it - it seems that they did not keep accurate records of employment (it was 8 years ago). The difference should not affect my points, as they still have a record of my employment which fits with an NOC code "B", but a slightly different job title.
It just means that my EE profile has one job title and NOC code, and my actual PR application will have a different job title and NOC code, but still in the same catagory. I am wondering how this will affect my application, since technically it shouldn't reduce my points.
I am not trying to misrepresent myself - I had two titles with this company - a 'community care co-ordinator' and 'nurse'. The company only seems to be able to provide me with the proof that I was a 'community care co-ordinator' (as of right now, but I am hoping they are able to look back at their records and see the nursing as well).
My other option is to reject my ITA and complete another EE profile with the different job title and NOC code, but I would rather not have to go down this path if possible.
