You act like it's very easy to get a degree from Canada. No one forced us to come to Canada, we came here on our free will, we paid the fee to get the Canadian education, and Canada got our money. Win-WinPawshi said:is the education a business? If yes, I am ready to buy the degree to become a PR.
And its not easy to get a job after graduation BTW, its not bread and butter and the moment you finish your school you will get a job right away!!Alexios07 said:In addition, people here trying to act stupid as they keep talking about international students demand PR right after graduation. CEC applicants are not international students, we are FORMER international students, who now are workers with PGWP.
Because there are those students with Canadian high level of education such as masters eligible only under only FSW because of lack of Canadian work experience but previous foreign work experience, which makes them eligible under Express Entry straightaway.fatani said:If they want to give huge points make it another stream.
Elrud said:Immigrants with foreign degrees cannot find jobs related to their occupation in Canada, mainly NOC A. No matter where, in which developed English-speaking country and how much work experience you had in a developed English-speaking country, employers would still prefer immigrants with Canadian education. That's why the government want to resolve credential issue by seeking international students in their target. Enjoy your reading!
Getting full master in Canade will give you usually access to 3 years post gradual work permit. With just 1 year working in canada you will qualify under CEC.Elrud said:Because there are those students with Canadian high level of education such as masters eligible only under only FSW because of lack of Canadian work experience but previous foreign work experience, which makes them eligible under Express Entry straightaway.
Some masters from good universities are 1-year and these universities want to preserve their reputation rather than tailoring it to 2 years like some colleges did.vensak said:Getting full master in Canade will give you usually access to 3 years post gradual work permit. What you lack on work experience points when it comes to the first point part, you do catch up with ideal age range.
Labour market Works on demand and supply. It is nice that you have studied something very difficult, if there is very little demand to your specialisation. In that case it is up to you to understand it and do following:
1. do the necesary steps to be able to get one of those few opened positions
2. Respecialise or take survival jobs while you will be improving yourself
3. or sit at home a cry about your bitter fate.
And just for the fun sake,
I did simulation for following:
Mater degree graduate under 29 with 2 years of work experience in Canada and no international experience and CBL 9 for language score. I got 497 points.
If I lowered the language to the admition level of CBL 7 it was still 459 points
So if you can achieve all that in "study in Canada package", what went wrong if average international student graduate has around 380 points?
1. if you choose something for which is just very small demand it is your choice and you have to live with it. if there is no demand for your specialisation at the moment take what is demand for.Elrud said:Some masters from good universities are 1-year and these universities want to preserve their reputation rather than tailoring it to 2 years like some colleges did.
Also, for most high-skilled NOC A, it is difficult to find work in your occupation.
Why wait to gain 1-year of work experience in order to become eligible under CEC where you can be eligible straightaway under FSW under Express Entry because of your previous work experience, if any.
It's not just a matter to gain Canadian work experience but what matters is whether it is related to your field of study.vensak said:Getting full master in Canade will give you usually access to 3 years post gradual work permit. With just 1 year working in canada you will qualify under CEC.

The in-demand occupation reasoning is no longer relevant. This is outdated pre-Express Entry.vensak said:1. if you choose something for which is just very small demand it is your choice and you have to live with it. if there is no demand for your specialisation at the moment take what is demand for.
2. Your job experience for EE system does not have to be your studies related as long as it is skilled job
3. That simulation was concluding, that you did full University studies in Canada (like full 4 or 5 years). Or at least that you did more than 2 years studies
4. Would I change it to 2 university credential (as you cannot study Master in Canada without having some diploma before), It would even jump to 522 points. (53 of those points were for work in Canada).
5. Even if you do not get 3 years post gradual work permit, but just 1, you can still most likely qualify for another year in programm opened for all young people under 35.
