Pre-Assessed..
Hello everyone,

I am a student from Bangladesh. I already have applied for my Canadian Student visa few days back. But still i am worried about the chances of getting the visa. I have some questions to ask :

*I have 4 GCSE (the results are not good enough) and a IELTS of 6 overall. I joined in London School of Business and finance (Toronto Campus) for FIA leading to ACCA. I believe all my papers (example, bank statements, properties, tax papers, notarized certificates, funds, etc) are good enough to get the visa. Still I am worried because, my educational qualifications are very poor and I have a gap of 1 and half year. Do you think this might not convince the embassy that I will be back after the completion of my course. Though I also mentioned in the study-plan that I will join my father's business after completing my course (which is true) in Bangladesh. My father is sponsoring me and I believe we have enough funds.
Do you think I have a chance to get the visa? I am really very worried.

Cheers

To be honest your chances are low, and the reasons are:-

You applied in a private college so you are not eligible for work permit.
You applied for qualification which is not Canadian and can also be taken in your home country.
Your 1.5 Yrs gap which needs to be justified when you applied.

Thanks mate for your kind reply.

I am not willing to do job there. 2ndly, a friend of mine, joined BBA in Windsor University. BBA is one of the very popular subjects in Bangladesh. But still she got the Student visa few months back. And 3rd, honestly I was doing nothing in the last 1 and half years. That's what I am worried about.
Anyways, pray for me mate. Cheers :-(

Hate to break it to you, but that's not how system works, you see.....

First thing is you can not apply for Ontario National nominee program if you are not from a public funded institution also you cannot even apply for work permit.

Secondly as you mentioned earlier your friend applied through Windsor University, please note as its a public funded university, so by all means he/she is eligible to apply for work permit and National nominee program, you on the other hand cannot.

Thirdly since your grades are low and on top of that you have 1.5 yrs gap, you need to justify this to V.O by all means.

All in all your visa chances are low.
