I am confused about this.

I graduated 4year university,
worked in a company for 2 years and met my required hours.

I have 13months left on my PGWP.
I am writing my IELTS first week of january so my earliest day of application would be by end of January.

I am reading that things are going to change in January.
but I cant really find what exactly is going to change. I read something about travelling countries.

I travelled so much I cant recall all of them clearly :(
Also I lived in an African country for about 10years since age of 10 before coming to Canada,
it is hard for me to get a Police Clearance unless I go there.. what should I do?

overall,
1. What exactly is changing from January that I should be aware of
2. Will it be important for me to remember and list all the travelled places?
3. What do I do about my Police Clearance from a small country in Africa
4. By the time I apply, I will only have about 11month left on my PGWP, will this be suffice?

Thank you always,

We won't know exactly until January. But the main thing is that the number of years of work experience required for the foreign worker stream will be reduced from 2 years to 1 year.

2. Will it be important for me to remember and list all the travelled places?

You should start reading the application information and instructions -
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/cec.asp

Specific to your question, see this form -
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5562E.pdf

3. What do I do about my Police Clearance from a small country in Africa
Find out how to get it, start here -
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

4. By the time I apply, I will only have about 11month left on my PGWP, will this be suffice?
Maybe, maybe not.

It's where you've lived for more than six months, not visited.

You need PCC from every country, except Canada, where you have lived for more than 6 months after attaining the age of 18. If you can, then try to submit all relevant PCCs with your initial application package itself. If not, you can submit PCCs later when your visa office requests you to.

As for travel, yes you are supposed to list all your travels outside your country of residence or your country of citizenship. It may a painful process but I'd suggest you try to get this accurate, guess stamps in your passport(s) would be a good place to start. May be someone who has been in a similar situation can advise you better on what would happen if you miss a few places in this form accidentaly.

this is going to be a painful process..
having all the travel locations dated and listed.

I dont even have my old passport anymore.
could they actually check where I went?
even before I came to canada?

I think I can guess all the places i've been since I was in Canada
as it's only 7 years.. but before that, I travelled a lot of places
