Change status needed - Waiting for Oath

Hi All,

SITUATION: I have applied for my citizenship in May and passed my exam as well. Currently , i am waiting for oath ceremony ( which is expected in january/february).
My online file status says “Decision Made”. Now ( december) , I am getting married.

Following are my queies:

1) Do i need to update my martial status in this case ?

2) If 1) is YES.
As, I am flying back to canada from India immediately after my wedding. In such case there will be a delay in getting marriage certificate. Do i need it in case of updating my status ?

I think you can update your marital status the day of your citizenship ceremony. You can tell it to the officer who will be checking your documents before you enter Oath room.

So you mean i don't need to call them ? I should wait for my Oath ceremony letter to come ?
