My purpose is to go to study. I already got approved and paid my tuiton. And my college is a big one (Humber). So I don't think I would have to worry about the topic on that link.
I'm just curious if changing status is allowed from student to a work related visa. Not that I'm planning or counting on it.
It doesn't matter which university or college you attend. By getting a student visa and swapping to a work visa, CIC feels you have pulled the wool over their eyes. They are planning to outlaw what you are doing.
So, the answer is: it's possible, but they may or may not see you as a scammer? or no, it's not possible, because they really think you are doing this because you're a scammer?
No one can tell you what the IO that opens your permit application will think, but I have heard of people getting rejected for doing this based on "fraudulently" entering Canada as a student to obtain a work visa. I also know of people that got the work visa and their PR through CEC without an issue with CIC.
