Hi,

I have a situation with one of the companies listed in my work experience (which I claimed points for). The first 3 months out of the 4 years that I worked for this company, I was hired through a recruiting company. So now that I requested a reference letter, the company didn't include three months that I was hired externally since it's not in their records. It's a bit challenging for me to get a reference letter from the recruiting company so I was wondering if I could change my start date for that job three months after the date I had before ITA without affecting my CRS points.

Thanks for your help.

I think an explanation letter can help if you want to change the start date. But do you have any extra months to fill in the loss, or it is exactly 4 years?

Or else, if you still keep the paystubs of that 3 months, I think it can be considered as proof of employment and you can claim the full 4 years.

Thanky ou for your answer.

I worked for the company 4 years and 23 days plus the three months I worked throught the hiring company, so I could claim four years even without the letter from the recruiting company. I'll keep trying to find paystubs of those months or ultimately attach an explanation letter.
