You can move anywhere you want, but have to update CIC with a valid mailing address.
Check my website for more information> http://cectoolkit.weebly.com/

Your lawyer put his address in the mailing address field on the IMM0008 form? What address does your e-cas show??
If it's your lawyers address, then you don't have to do anything. However, I would still email CIC and inform them about the
change of address. It's never a mistake to provide too much information.

so, is it ok ,,, if i change the address before getting file number ?
You can't change your address before you receive the file number.
You have to wait for the AOR and then you can change your address and access the e-cas system to do so.

Why are we still talking about that?!
If you move, you have to update CIC. It's that easy. Just do it, like everyone else.

Just because you are changing address it dosent mean your processing time is going to be extended, especially when you are in this early stage. Its your duty to notify change of address. Otherwise its misrepresentation, giving an address where you are not living is misrepresentation. Why do you want to fall under this category?

Just like Toby said just update your address with CIC.

Don't worry buddy. Move now if you need to and notify CIC later on (when you get your AOR) about your new address.
