CHANGE of VISA OFFICE [from Ottawa to Local VO] - Anyone ?

Just wondering if anyone has used the London visa office and how long they took to send CoPR. It has been little over a week for myself and I was wanting to know how long I would need to roughly wait.

Hi,

I finally received my PPR yesterday from Ottawa after a month long wait.. I stay inside Canada while my spouse stays outside Canada.

I understand that I need to send a CSE to Ottawa for a VO change for my spouse..

Can anyone pls guide if I can submit my passport in the meantime to Ottawa for stamping or should I wait until I get the VO changed for my spouse?

I am in the same situation, what did you do?

My spouse is in Canada and I'm in my home country.

Should we send an email for a Change of VO or should I send my passport over to Canada to be sent with my spouse's?

How long to get visa office change ppr ?? It's been more than two weeks

I got my PPR three days ago.
when I applied I was living in London, UK but I have moved since then to Beirut, Lebanon.

After I moved I informed change of address. But now I was asked in PPR letter to submit the documents to London office , and I was provided this email ldnimmigration@international.gc.ca which is specific to London office.

I contacted them and they said

"your application is not in process at our office in London, UK. Please contact the visa office where your application was sent - CPC-Ottawa - with any proof of receipt you may have received regarding this application. We regret that we cannot assist applicants with an application in process at a different visa office."

I am extremely confused now. where is my application and what shall I do.

I contacted both Visa Office in Ottawa and Lebanon and both with NO response.

Can anyone help me or provide me with advice on what to do ?!

I am in same situation now .. I have requested for VO change 9 10 days back . Still no reply from CIC . I sent 3 emails and 2 CSE and really worries what will happen to my application . very nervous ,,, never felt like this ,,

As far as i remember (and read in this forum), they will take 2-4 weeks to respond to change VO.

Be patient. Usually they take 3-20 days. I got mine within 2 days but few of my friends got it within 2-3 weeks...so as long as you informed CPC for the LVO you should be fine. So don't worry. Its on your way pretty soon.

like others in this forum , today i got a new message in MyCIC acct . The status says "your Action is Required". When i opened the application .. there was a new message which is a change in LVO to New York with the instructions ...

But i didn't get any email from lvo , i just got this message in MyCIC

Also i see "Review of submitted documents :We need an additional document from the applicant " ---- When i looked into the application section , they gave me a placeholder in the LOE section to upload a file with the "Replacement Needed " --- But i don't know what to upload there ...

I sent 3 emails to cpc Ottawa to change the vo to New Delhi,14 days over,no reply.i sent my first email on March 02.Anybody on the same date?.so worried and helpless....

it took 10 calendar days to change from Ottawa to Newyork ..

I sent email to lvo also additional to the email to Ottawa. also raised CSE

I AM AN INDIAN CITIZEN, WAS WORKING IN BAHRAIN UP TO MAY 25 2016,PRESENTLY IN INDIA.MY VISA OFFICE IS ABU DHABI . GOT PPR ON JUNE 05 2016.SEND AN EMAIL ON 15 JULY 2016 TO ABU DHABI TO CHANGE IT TO NEW DELHI.UPTO THIS DATE NO REPLY.ALREADY ONE MONTH GONE.
SEND A MAIL TO NEW DELHI VO,THEY REPLIED THEY ARE HELPLESS.MY MEDICALS ARE EXPIRING ON SEP 07 2016,ONLY 52 DAYS LEFT.SENT 2-3 REMINDERS,NO REPLY.
PLEASEEEeeeee HELPPPpppppp.....

Any expert can help? Regarding Post-AOR process, in case all documents are checked and approved, what's next?


"If everything goes fine, you will get a Passport Request (PPR) and a Decision Made (DM) within 6 months of submission of complete application.

You can submit your passport (along with dependents’ passport, if they are accompanying you to Canada) at the nearest VFS??. They will send your passport to the embassy and deliver your passport back to you after the stamping is done. You will get a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) letter along with your passport that is stamped with the Maple Leaf Visa Smiley . You need to carry BOTH your passport(with the stamped visa) and the COPR when you are travelling to Canada."

Can I choose the VFS or it is indicated by CIC? Thanks for giving more details on this stage of the process
