CHANGE OF UNIVERSITY AND MY STUDENT VISA... URGENT

Hi,
I got an offer of admission from University of British Columbia, Vancouver for January 2015 intake. Presently I am doing my Master of Engineering in University of Ottawa (First Semester). I want to change to UBC, I called the UBC admission office to inquire about credit transfer, but I was told that I need to get the transcripts of uOttawa to UBC then they can decide if my credits from the present subjects at University of Ottawa will be transferred or not. So due to this uncertainty I am planning to pull out of the course in University of Ottawa and join UBC in January. What I want to know is, it is October now and if I pull out of courses now from uOttawa, I have two months to go to start my course at UBC. Will this affect my visa?

Stay there because if you pull out or not. You can't refund your fee. Finish this term and mover

i m from carleton.
What you can do is complete this term at Ottawa U then apply for transcript and send them to the UBC...but IF u want to chabge then u have to take a TERM off so u have to drop winter term in both the unis.i hope u getting me.

I have to take a term off as in? I have already registered for courses in UBC for January 2015. So if I pull out of courses from uOttawa then how will I have to drop winter term in both the universities (UBC and uOttawa)?
