Hi Experts,
My wife had to travel to India from Canada a week before PPR due to family emergency and doesn't have the valid TRV to return back to Canada as I was waiting for my WP extension. So I followed the following process to get her VO change.
1) I got the PPR on May 01, 2017 and then I talked to IRCC helpline and they advise me to notify CPC-Ottawa regarding this and submit my passport.
2) I sent an email to the CPC-Ottawa and sent my passport along with the LOE regarding the spouse on May 3, 2017. The passport was received at Ottawa on May 4, 2017.
3) I received an letter in my account today i.e. May 5, 2017 regarding the instructions on submitting the passports in India.
Could you please provide some guidance or advise on the following.
1) First of all, if there is any flaw in the process I followed.
2) Secondly, the letter that I received now is in my name. Is it because I'm the primary applicant or does it need to be in Spouse name as the VO change is only for her.
3) Lastly, the letter also states that only to submit in Canada if me and all my dependents are in Canada only but I already submitted my passport for the stamping as per the letter received on May 01, 2017.
Appreciate your quick response so that I can act accordingly.
Thanks,
Sonu
