Change of program within same college but different intake.

Please can someone help and guide me

I have already received study permit for "data analytics for business program" may2021 and I'm from business background . I did bba in india and finding this program very tough since it has database , machine learning subjects which I'm finding very hard bcoz I have no prior coding or computer background.

So want to change into IBM logistics program in same college but that program is available in next sept 2021 or jan2022 intake

I'm still in india
I want to change program within same college but the program which I want to change starts in different intake .

So should I just update ircc about it or re-apply for new study visa

I have a similar desire to yours. So:
1. You do not need to apply for a new study permit because you do not change the DLI.
2. If the gap time between your current course and your future course is lower than 150 days, you will not need to inform IRCC; but in my case, I would like to be safe by informing IRCC thru an email or a web form. I believe that even though our gap time is lower than 150 days, informing them will definitely not harm our application now and in the future.
